Lil' Munchkin Turns One!

This little smiling model just turned one.  Was very happy to be able to snap a 'few' before her first birthday.  Happy birthday!!!

Happy Earth Day!

Be mindful and appreciative of the nature around you.  Do your part to conserve and protect it.

Blackhawks game

A bit late to post but this was my second ever Blackhawks game.  They played against the LA Kings. Really fun!

It was right before St. Paddy's day so there was plenty of green in the stands.

And of course what would a hockey game be without a fight.

because once in a while you need a post about food

Doughnuts from the Doughnut Vault.  They were so delicious and worth the 45 minute or so wait.  The big boy in the left hand corner, the chocolate glazed one, was my absolute favorite.

Crab benedict at Feast
This was a brioche berry french toast also at Feast.  I get hungry looking at it.

Happy Spring!

Chicago is in full (early!) bloom and it's been wonderful to see the signs of spring everywhere.  I plan on taking my baby out this weekend and shooting some pictures around the neighborhood.

In the meantime, here's another one from my favorite model.  Happy Spring Everyone!

Cutie Pie

I had the opportunity to take pictures of another young family.  There were more great photographs aside from the ones below (including ones of the whole family) but the cutie pie won the award for most adorable - so this post belongs to her. Sorry, Mom & Dad.  Enjoy!

How gorgeous is that smile!?
Here's my favorite family one :)
Priceless

Three's Company

My second portrait session was of three beautiful and super sweet siblings.   Their house proved to be a great backdrop for pictures - both inside and outside.  They were so much fun to work with.  And if you can't tell, there was a mutual love between them and the camera. Enjoy!
