Blackhawks game

A bit late to post but this was my second ever Blackhawks game.  They played against the LA Kings. Really fun!

 It was right before St. Paddy's day so there was plenty of green in the stands.

And of course what would a hockey game be without a fight.

Doughnuts from the Doughnut Vault.  They were so delicious and worth the 45 minute or so wait.  The big boy in the left hand corner, the chocolate glazed one, was my absolute favorite.

This was a brioche berry french toast also at Feast.  I get hungry looking at it. 

Happy Spring!

Chicago is in full (early!) bloom and it's been wonderful to see the signs of spring everywhere.  I plan on taking my baby out this weekend and shooting some pictures around the neighborhood.

short hiatus

It's cliche but it's amazing how fast time passes. Before you know it's mid-February and you realize the last actual post you had was from New Year's.  And by "you" I mean "me". Things have been pretty busy but hoping to get back into photography very soon.  In the meantime, here are a couple of recent ones of my nephew.  

I absolutely love this serious-dead-into-the-camera-look.  Such a model!

New Year's Rockin' Eve

We hosted a small New Year's Eve party this year.  It was really nice to catch up with friends and spend celebrating the coming of the new year in the comfort of our home.

Holidays 2011

The holidays this year were really really special.  We celebrated our engagement while we chased our 18 month old nephew around.
